The Calibration Technician at Cytiva involves conducting calibrations on a range of manufacturing and process equipment. This includes Thermometers, Pressure Gauges, Cold Rooms, Environmental Rooms, Freezers, Chart Recorders, Temperature Alarms, Temperature Controllers, Autoclaves, Floor Scales, Analytical Balances, RO/DI Skids, pH Neutralization Skids, Differential Pressures, Torque, Timers, Open and Closed loop Calibrations, as well as troubleshooting abilities. The Calibration Technician will also be responsible for maintaining a monthly Calibration due list and accurately updating the Database entries.

This position is part of the Facilities team located in Westborough, MA and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Complete Calibrations for documented equipment for Cytiva utilizing tools of trade.

  • Conduct Routine testing, analyze test data to make decisions about the need for calibration, repair, and maintenance.

  • Document and manage service through prepared reports and other paperwork. Prepare data reports, and written recommendations. Document in CMMS and Calibration Software.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Associate Degree in Biotechnology / Pharmaceuticals / Manufacturing / Life Sciences, Metrology or related field

  • 5+ yrs experience as a calibration technician.

  • Measurement skills, Mathematical knowledge, Troubleshooting capability, Analytical ability, Software Tracking knowledge, MS Office, Communication skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Strong Analytical Skills – able to critically analyze problems and come up with innovative solutions when required.

  • InforEAM (CMMS) & ISO Standards knowledge.

The hourly range for this role is 32.00-41.82. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
